As previously reported, on December 25, 2024, an Azerbaijani Airlines passenger plane crashed in Aktau, Kazakhstan.

This tragedy has shocked everyone.

The President, Parliament, and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed their deep condolences to the families and relatives of the citizens of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Kazakhstan who suffered in this tragic incident.

On December 28, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Uzbekistan and expressed her condolences to the Ambassador and the entire fraternal Azerbaijani people.

Earlier, in connection with this tragedy, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, on behalf of the Upper House of Parliament, sent a letter to the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, in which she expressed deep condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
