The Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships have kicked off in Malaysia. Twenty athletes from the Uzbekistan national team are participating in the competition.

Nikita Bibikov (-65 kg) and Raykhona Asanboyeva (-41 kg) brought two gold medals on the first day. Amir Saliyev and Shakhzoda Kamolova won bronze medals in their respective weight classes.
