Member of the Uzbekistan national team, Shukhrat Salaev, won a gold medal at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Challenge in Bangkok.

The competition brought together 241 athletes from 29 countries.

Uzbekistan’s athlete outperformed all his opponents in the preliminary, quarterfinal, and semifinal matches. In the final, he defeated a Greek contender, while an athlete from South Korea won the bronze medal.
