The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov congratulated the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the entire Uzbekistan people on the opening of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference.

In his congratulatory message, published on social media, President Sadyr Japarov emphasized that this remarkable event has become a historic milestone for Central Asia and serves as vivid evidence of the high international standing of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the growing recognition of the entire Central Asian region as an essential center of cultural, spiritual, and humanitarian cooperation on the global stage.

“Holding such a representative forum in the ancient city of Samarkand, the cradle of science, enlightenment, and spirituality, gives the conference special symbolic significance”, the message stated. “It highlights Uzbekistan’s role as a bridge between civilizations.”

Sadyr Japarov also underscored that the decisions and initiatives to be proposed at the event will open new opportunities for cooperation in education, science, and culture, thereby strengthening friendship among peoples and the prosperity of the entire region.
