The delegation of the Research Institute of Criminology of Uzbekistan visited the Republic of Türkiye to intensify collaboration with foreign research institutes of criminology in this country.

The delegation met with the Head of the Turkish National Police Academy, Yilmaz Colak.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached to establish scientific cooperation in criminology, develop a corresponding program, and hold a joint international forum.

In addition, it is planned to establish an international scientific and practical journal, jointly implement scientific and practical research projects, organize internships for employees, and prepare training programs and manuals for a new generation in criminology. An agreement was also reached on the creation of a scientific advisory council.

It was stated that the Turkish National Police Academy will provide methodological assistance in establishing scientific cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and criminology research centers in Türkiye.

Members of the delegation got acquainted with the work on road safety in Türkiye, the Police Chiefs Training Center, and others.
