
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Robert Fico, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan from June 8 to 10.
According to the visit program, high-level talks will take place in Tashkent, focusing on further developing multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
Special attention will be given to expanding partnerships in priority areas, including trade, investments, innovations, agriculture, industry, energy, and tourism. Issues of cooperation in organized labor migration, cultural-humanitarian, and educational spheres will also be addressed. Views on international issues, including mutual support within multilateral platforms, will be exchanged.
Following the leaders’ meeting, the signing of documents aimed at further developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia is planned.
Prime Minister Robert Fico will also participate in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum during his visit.
