At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on October 28-31.

According to the visit program in the city of Tashkent, high-level talks will be held during which prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia will be discussed.

The focus will be on strengthening partnerships across key sectors, including mechanical engineering, the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceuticals, information technology, digitalization, tourism, and other vital areas.

Issues of cooperation in the field of organized labor migration, as well as in cultural, humanitarian, and educational spheres, will be considered. Views will be exchanged on current issues of the international agenda.

A package of bilateral agreements is expected to be signed following the talks.

Aleksandar Vučić will also participate as an honored guest at the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which begins this week in Samarkand.
