President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the set of the historical feature film Husayn, dedicated to the childhood of Abu Ali ibn Sina.
For the film, being produced at the request of the Center for the Development of Children’s Content, the Uzbekfilm studio constructed sets recreating the atmosphere of the era in which the great scholar lived. The Head of State inspected the historical city walls, streets and marketplaces, period costumes and props used in filming.

The film tells the story of young Husayn ibn Abdullah’s passion for medicine, devotion to his teachers and humanistic values. It aims to introduce children to the great scholar’s pursuit of knowledge and his personal qualities.
During a conversation with the filmmakers, the President noted that the state would place even greater emphasis on producing films that reflect the national spirit and depict the lives of the country’s great ancestors. Praising the sets constructed at the studio, he emphasized that they demonstrated a commitment to faithfully recreating the historical era on screen. The Head of State also highlighted the importance of using cinema to introduce the younger generation to the rich history and legacy of the country’s great scholars, inspire an interest in the past and foster a sense of pride in it.
