Farhod Abdullayev: “Meeting with the Head of State will inspire us to work more effectively”
On October 26, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Uzbekfilm studio and met with representatives of the film industry. The discussions focused on ongoing initiatives and plans.
“Let us draw strength from our achievements and create films of our own...” These words, spoken during the meeting, reflect an understanding of the essence of the reforms and the importance of serving society through science and education.
Above all, the Head of State has consistently attached particular importance to reforms in the spiritual and cultural spheres.
– Actors experience a sense of excitement and anticipation during film premieres, shoots and theatrical performances. That is the nature of our profession. But today, the emotions are somewhat different, – said Farhod Abdullayev, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan and actor at the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theatre. – We are immensely grateful to the President for once again finding time to meet with us despite his extremely busy schedule. The magnificent Renaissance Cinema House, where our meeting took place, and the adjoining Uzbekfilm complex were previously neglected. The President personally initiated their reconstruction and modernization, creating all the necessary conditions, and we must respond with enthusiasm. The work to be undertaken and the themes to be explored in future films have already been determined. Now it is time to get down to work.
The meeting between the Head of State and film industry professionals will provide renewed energy and motivation for their continued productive work.
