President of Uzbekistan discusses implementation of priority projects with Saudi Arabia

On July 28, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by the Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel.

The distinguished guest conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan greetings and best wishes from the King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

The dynamic development of cooperation in recent years was noted with satisfaction. Particular emphasis was placed on the successful implementation of major joint projects with ACWA.

During the visit, fruitful discussions were held with a high-level delegation of executives from leading Saudi Arabian companies, resulting in several agreements.

During the meeting, focus was placed on digitizing and modernizing the healthcare system, regulating the pharmaceutical industry, training personnel, and building a multidisciplinary clinic in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, it was agreed to create and adopt a roadmap that outlines the implementation of new projects and initiatives.
