On February 18-20, the XIX Annual Student Scientific Conference “Oil and Gas 2026” was held at the Branch of Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I. Gubkin in Tashkent.

The event brought together more than 130 participants – students and young researchers who presented the results of scientific studies, innovative projects, and practical developments reflecting current trends in the energy sector and the oil and gas industry.

Abdulla Magrupov, Executive Director of the university branch, delivered welcoming remarks at the conference’s opening. He emphasized that today, the student scientific conference is not only a presentation of research results but also an important platform for professional communication, discussion of strategic directions for energy development, and the search for innovative solutions amid global transformations.

The conference was organized around key areas, including geology and field exploration, oil and gas field development, well drilling, pipeline transport, chemical technologies, environmental safety, and others. Special attention was given to digitalization of the industry, industrial safety, and environmental responsibility.

Following the conference, the best presentations were recommended for publication in a collection of scientific papers, which will help strengthen academic ties and develop scientific cooperation.

The conference concluded with an award ceremony during which the authors of the best presentations received diplomas and commemorative certificates.
