Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye, Ufuk Ulutaş, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

“Uzbekistan and Türkiye continue to actively collaborate not only on a bilateral level but also in expanding regional cooperation. We are certain that our joint efforts will contribute to the prosperity and development of both countries. Sincerely congratulate Mr. Ambassador on his appointment and wish him every success in his diplomatic mission”, the Foreign Minister stated on his Telegram channel.

Ufuk Ulutaş replaces Olgan Bekar, who served as Türkiye’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan from 2021 to 2025.
