Navoi State University and Bucheon University initiate a new phase of collaboration

At the invitation of Bucheon University President Professor Han Jung-seok, Rector of Navoi State University Professor Mukhiddin Kalonov visited South Korea for a working trip. During his visit, he attended the opening ceremony of the university’s new Sosa Campus and participated in an international conference on global academic collaboration.

The conference, with participants from over 16 countries, focused on enhancing inter-university cooperation, academic mobility, joint educational initiatives, and collaborative research.

Mr. Kalonov announced that Navoi State University and Bucheon University will start new joint educational programs in 2027, beginning with undergraduate courses. They will also collaborate on research and innovation projects. Additionally, the agreement aims to increase faculty and student exchanges and to establish a Sports Research and Rehabilitation Center at Navoi State University.

Following the event, participants were invited to the opening of the Korean Language and Culture Center at Navoi State University, scheduled for September 9, 2026.
