During the First Uzbekistan – Malaysia Forum “Opportunities and initiatives in higher education to achieve sustainable development goals”, held in Malaysia, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Navoi State University and Perlis University.

In accordance with the memorandum, the universities will establish a joint business incubator center, modernize training programs in artificial intelligence and logistics, and exchange students and teachers. A joint journal will be published, which will be indexed in the Scopus scientific database.

An agreement was also reached on cooperation with UCSI University, under which both universities will conduct online and offline classes during the year under the Guest Lecturer program.

The issue of attracting teachers of Navoi State University to participate in Tesol certification courses at UCSI University and creating the necessary conditions for them was considered during the rector’s meeting. An agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects in the industry and agriculture.
