Musical evening in Bukhara
As part of the French Culture Days in Bukhara, a musical evening featuring artists from Uzbekistan and France was held at the historic Kukaldosh Madrasah.
The concert featured two renowned French musicians: Christophe Dravers, Deputy Director of the Versailles Grand Parc Conservatory and an accomplished clarinetist, and Pascal Romano, an international competition prizewinner, pianist, and faculty member at the conservatory.

The program featured outstanding works by renowned French composers Jean-Philippe Rameau, Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, and Camille Saint-Saëns, all of whom made significant contributions to world music.

The event’s setting at Kukaldosh Madrasah, one of Bukhara’s centuries-old historical monuments, gave the evening a distinctive atmosphere and significance. The combination of ancient architecture and French classical music once again highlighted the values shared across cultures.
Music lovers will remember the evening in Bukhara not only for its beautiful melodies, but also as a moving symbol of cultural dialogue and friendship.
