The monument to the great ancestor of Uzbek people, the scientist and thinker Muhammad al-Khwarizmi has been erected in Spain’s Madrid, on the territory of the Complutense University.

The monument is located in the university square between the buildings of the faculties of physics, chemistry and mathematics.

The official opening ceremony of the monument will take place on December 17, 2020.
