Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Dilshod Akhatov held bilateral meetings with the Senator of France, Chairperson of France – Central Asia Inter-Parliamentary Group Nathalie Goulet, Vice President of France – Central Asia Inter-Parliamentary Group, a member of the National Assembly of France Pierre Cabaré and President of Paris Medical Academy Emmanuel Cabanis.

Prospects for further development of Uzbekistan – France inter-parliamentary relations, trade-economic cooperation and cultural-humanitarian exchanges, including in the areas of health and education, were discussed.

At the meetings, representatives of France confirmed their willingness to take part in observing the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan in December 2019 as observers from the French Republic.
