Leading startup founders from around the world convene with researchers in Uzbekistan
Six founders in Y Combinator (YC) programs traveled to Tashkent, Namangan, Andijan, Fergana, Jizzakh, Samarkand, and Bukhara, meeting startup founders, developers, engineers, and researchers throughout the week.
Today, Y Combinator, a globally recognized leader in startup acceleration, is at the forefront of the digital industry. It has supported the growth of billion-dollar companies and brought a new wave of entrepreneurs redefining entire industries.
The program also featured individual meetings with founders, where participants discussed topics such as developing an MVP, marketing strategies, product sales, revenue growth, and advancing a startup to the next stage.

The discussions included an open exchange of perspectives on starting a startup from the ground up, key focus areas for founders, Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem, mental health matters, and burnout prevention.
At the end of the week, participants gathered in Tashkent for a final event attended by founders with Y Combinator backgrounds, local startup teams, and venture capital representatives. While the program wrapped up there, the new ideas and connections formed are just beginning their journey.
