During his stay in Kazan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.

The issues of further enhancing the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and India were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to implementing programs and projects in high technology, artificial intelligence, industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, and transport communications.

An agreement was reached to hold the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum this year and to adopt a medium-term Industrial Cooperation Program.

It was proposed to organize mutual Culture and Cinema Days, joint events in medicine, sports, and youth, including through youth parliamentary organizations.

The two countries’ leaders also discussed the schedule of the upcoming events at the highest level.
