JSCB Business Development Bank and Standard Chartered discuss prospects for cooperation

As part of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, a meeting was held between the management of JSCB Business Development Bank and a delegation from Standard Chartered, led by Chief Executive Officer Saif Malik.

During the negotiations, the sides discussed the latest trends in international financial markets, prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and issues of strengthening interbank relations. Particular attention was paid to opportunities to participate in international debt capital markets, to attract syndicated loans, and to develop trade finance instruments.

Representatives of Standard Chartered highly praised the economic reforms underway in Uzbekistan and the large-scale transformations in the banking and financial sector, expressing readiness to develop a long-term strategic partnership with JSCB Business Development Bank.
