The 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union is ongoing in Tashkent.

UzA correspondent spoke with the Speaker of the House of Assembly of Dominica, Joseph Isaac.

“I would like to speak about Uzbekistan – a wonderful country with very friendly people”, Joseph Isaac said. “You can be proud of your nation, its traditions, and culture. I wish for the country’s well-being and prosperity to continue simultaneously. I have familiarized myself with your Constitution, which protects democratic principles.

The Assembly addressed issues of peace preservation and the fight against climate change. Delegates are actively engaged in resolving all matters and are putting forward ideas.

Uzbekistan has served as the host country and as a state promoting essential initiatives.

The President of Uzbekistan is close to the people, and his leadership qualities contributed to the high-level international organization of the Assembly”.
