Samarkand State Medical University hosted an International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Innovative approaches in clinical neurology and neurorehabilitation”.

The conference was attended by more than 400 specialists from leading higher medical education institutions and scientific and practical centers of Uzbekistan, Spain, Russia, Türkiye, the United States, France, Singapore and Kazakhstan.

Innovative technologies in diagnostics and treatment of ischemic brain disease and other neurological diseases, neurorehabilitation, neurosurgery, and other areas of clinical neurology were discussed.

Samarkand State Medical University held a dental congress “Modern approaches to the prevention and treatment of dental diseases”.

The event, organized jointly with the Ministry of Health and the Association of Dentists, was attended by more than 300 specialists from Uzbekistan, the United States, Russia, France, Bulgaria, Egypt, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The event included masterclasses and presentations on dental prevention as a means of preventing somatic diseases, the synergy of digital solutions and clinical skills in periodontology, subperiosteal implants, and the role of microscopes in modern dentistry.
