Samarkand State University is hosting the Third International Forum “Physics 2024”. This prestigious event, organized by the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the SamSU Engineering Physics Institute, is a testament to the university’s commitment to fostering international scientific collaboration.

During this significant event, 154 scientists from the United States, Azerbaijan, Romania, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and other countries will deliver speeches.

The international forum was opened by the Rector of Samarkand State University, a scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Rustam Kholmurodov.

Anvar Zokhidov, Scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

– Leading physicists from all over the world gathered for the historical event, which is taking place today at Samarkand State University. Current topics are discussed by researchers from the universities of Texas, Moscow, and Dubna. This forum aims to identify problems with modern physics and further develop future technologies. SamSU has about ten scientific schools and laboratories in physics. That is why we are holding an international forum at Samarkand State University. It should be noted that on the initiative of the University Rector Rustam Kholmurodov, the only Samarkand quantum center in Central Asia was created. This center provides an opportunity to obtain the highest results in modern physics and technology.

Vladislav Khomich, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences:

– The Third International Forum “Physics 2024” plays a special role for the CIS countries. The forum will feature presentations on the most current topics. In recent years, the prestige of international events in physics has declined to some extent. The holding of today’s event at Samarkand State University couldn’t come at a better time. Foreign scientists are showing great interest in this forum and recognize that it is being held at a high level. I am confident that the reports presented at the forum will contribute to the further development of science.

Ilkhom Sodikov, Director of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician:

– Young researchers, graduate students, and students are also taking part in the international forum organized at Samarkand University. I think this is an outstanding achievement. As part of the forum, discussions take place, and new inventions are discussed. Young researchers can choose a suitable direction or scientific supervisor, receive several recommendations from leading scientists, jointly publish articles in prestigious journals, and participate in international grants. I do not doubt that our youth will demonstrate themselves effectively in all areas.

The international forum will run until April 25.
