Uzbekistan has officially launched Imkon VC, a new venture capital and crowdfunding platform designed to simplify investments in startups and expand founders’ access to financing. The project was founded by entrepreneur Muhammad Khalil and is focused on developing the country’s fast-growing startup ecosystem.
The platform allows investors, both experienced and novice, to find and support promising startups through a digital interface, minimizing traditional barriers, including high entry thresholds and complex legal procedures.

The founder of the platform, Muhammad Khalil, is also the creator of Startup Garage, one of the leading venture studios and startup hubs in Uzbekistan, which has supported dozens of companies at early stages of development. According to him, Imkon VC was the answer to one of the key problems in the regional market: limited access to capital and insufficient involvement of private investors in the innovative economy.
For startups, Imkon VC offers a comprehensive investment attraction solution, from project placement to end-to-end investment management. This allows the founders not only to raise capital, but also to form a community of supporters around their product.
The launch of Imkon VC is seen as a significant step toward building a more inclusive and sustainable venture ecosystem in Uzbekistan, expanding opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship.
