Uzbekistan national team members Shakhzod Nurmatov and Sobir Safaraliyev won the gold medal in the lightweight men’s double sculls (LM2x).
Uzbekistan’s team achieved a historic milestone by reaching the top podium position for the first time in the country’s history at the World Rowing Championships.
The German team secured the silver medals, while the United States team won bronze.
