Germany’s Stuttgart hosts Uzbekistan Textile Industry Days.

According to Uztuqimachiliksanoat Association, the forum is attended by more than 50 local and German companies. It is organized in four German cities.

– Uzbekistan Textile Days began in the German Historical Museum, – said Sh. Kuchkarova, Head of Press Service at Uztuqimachiliksanoat Association. – The main task is the development of small and medium-sized businesses and further expansion of cooperation to assist in entering the foreign market. 20 enterprises of Uzbekistan, such as Axsan Apparel, Yustex, Samo, Haj Tex, Bunyodkor Textile, and Urban Style are demonstrating their capabilities within the framework of the forum.

It was noted that Uzbekistan could become a center for supplying new textile products to international companies. Partner of Gherzi company Laurent Aucouturier presented a report on “Giants in the production of textile products”.

In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Germany Nabijon Kasimov spoke about the great importance of the textile industry in further strengthening relations between the two countries. The Chairman of the Uztuqimachiliksanoat Association stressed that Uzbekistan will become the best location and hub for stable supplies of high-quality textile products to Germany.

At the forum, special attention was paid to the activities of cotton and textile clusters of Uzbekistan. The German partners highly appreciated this vertically integrated system and expressed a desire to establish relations with the Uzbek side. Exhibitions and B2B meetings were also organized within the framework of the forum.
