Geneva will host the FIDE World Championship Match 2026.

The world chess crown match between Gukesh Dommaraju of India and Javohir Sindarov from Uzbekistan is scheduled to be held from November 25 to December 15 in Geneva.

Previously, the United States, Cyprus, and India had applied to host the match.
