This summer, the city of Gabala will become the center of world music once again. The XIV Gabala International Music Festival, to be held from July 24 to 29, 2025, will provide music lovers with unforgettable moments.

The festival is initiated and organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and “Gilan”.

This magnificent music holiday, which has been held since 2009, has become an international cultural platform that not only keeps classical music traditions alive but also brings together artists and young talents from different parts of the world on one stage.

This year, the festival will feature renowned performers from Azerbaijan, Latin America, Lithuania, and Georgia. The program they will present will reflect both the national musical heritage of Azerbaijan and world musical culture.

The declaration of 2025 as the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” in Azerbaijan, as well as the 140th anniversary of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the founder of Azerbaijani professional music, further increases the spiritual and historical significance of this year’s festival. The festival will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist Rauf Atakishiyev and the 90th anniversary of prominent composer Vasif Adigozalov with special concert programs.

The Gabala International Music Festival will be one of the most memorable events of 2025.
