The documentary film “Xinjiang: Wonders of Turpan” was produced by the “Koʻngil” studio of “Fargʻona Haqiqati” newspaper in cooperation with the China News Service (CNS).

The film portrays the daily lives of ordinary rural residents in Turpan, examines local viticulture practices, and highlights historical landmarks and industrial enterprises.

The film was presented in Turpan, with attendees including officials from the Turpan Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Department of International Relations, Xinjiang-based filmmakers, members of the public, and 21 journalists participating in the China – Central Asia Journalists’ Forum.

Officials of Xinjiang highly praised the film, noting that it would contribute to the further strengthening of relations between the two countries and their peoples.

Xinjiang authorities also announced that the documentary created by Uzbekistan journalists will be broadcast on television and made available online.
