The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Painting and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod have organized an exhibition devoted to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Romania. It features 33 paintings and 4 installations.

At the opening ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Uzbekistan Daniel Christian Ciobanu noted the active development of bilateral relations, the growing interest of Romanian companies in Uzbekistan’s economic potential, and the increase in trade turnover.

Diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Romania were established on October 6, 1995.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Oana-Silvia Țoiu, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, exchanged congratulatory letters.
