Delegation from the State Academy of Sports of Uzbekistan visits Italy

During a visit to Italy, a group of Uzbek sports specialists held a series of meetings to develop partnerships with leading research centers affiliated with the University of Trento.

At the CIMeC center, the delegation examined research on how the human brain functions, along with cognitive processes and behavior, conducted using advanced technologies.

Additionally, the delegation led by Ilhomjon Tursunaliyev, Rector of the State Academy of Sports of Uzbekistan, reviewed research on human brain activity using advanced technologies like functional magnetic resonance imaging and electroencephalography. They also examined projects in artificial intelligence and digital technologies at Neuroimaging Labs, a prominent research center in Italy.

During the meetings, the parties explored potential collaborations with Italian scientists in psychology, cognitive research, and digital technologies.

They discussed the implementation of joint research projects, involvement in international grant programs, and the development of academic mobility.
