Uzbekistan and Italy expand cooperation
A delegation led by Fabrizio Benzoni, Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of Italy, Head of the Italy – Central Asia Parliamentary Friendship Group, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The current state and prospects for developing the strategic partnership between the two countries were discussed with the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Science, Education, and Health, Bahrom Abdullayev.
The parties focused on strengthening interparliamentary cooperation, exchanging experience in lawmaking, and promoting mutually beneficial initiatives. Prospects for expanding cooperation in education and science, in particular, the development of joint educational programs and scientific research, were discussed.
