Cooperation in medical and social rehabilitation

Specialists from the Japanese Society of International Rehabilitation Kaori Yamaguchi and Kono Makoto arrived in Syrdarya region to strengthen cooperation in medical-social rehabilitation and exchange international experience.

During the visit, a meeting was held at the National Agency for Social Protection’s regional office, where issues such as improving service quality, expanding rehabilitation programs, and enhancing specialists’ professional level were discussed.

The parties discussed introducing modern rehabilitation techniques based on the Japanese experience, as well as organizing targeted social services. Suggestions have been made to conduct training workshops.

During the visit, Japanese specialists became familiar with the system for providing rehabilitation services to the population.
