Chinese technologies to be introduced in the livestock sector
Important agreements to strengthen cooperation in the livestock sector between Uzbekistan and China were reached during an international livestock exhibition in China.
The agreements provide for the establishment of modern joint ventures and high-tech laboratories for the development, production, and testing of specialized feed additives, veterinary medicines, vaccines, and biological products.

It is also planned to develop bilateral scientific and practical cooperation on cultivating fodder plants adapted to Uzbekistan’s climatic conditions.
During the discussions, special attention was given to improving personnel qualifications. Employees of the country’s veterinary service and specialists in the field will regularly receive training at advanced Chinese livestock farms, leading research institutes, and major processing enterprises.

In addition, mechanisms will be developed for digital monitoring of cattle feeding and for the systematic exchange of experience in introducing modern technologies.
As part of promising joint projects, plans are underway to create new capacity for the deep processing of dairy and meat products.
