Opening ceremony of Chinese Films Days was held at the Cinema Palace named after Alisher Navoi, in Tashkent. It was attended by representatives of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chinese National Cultural Center, guests from China, filmmakers, film experts, and journalists.

The purpose of events, to be held in Tashkent and Samarkand, is organization of film exchange between the two states, creation of joint films and cooperation in the sphere of animated cartoons. Issues of holding Uzbekistan Films Days in China and creation of opportunities for presentation of Uzbek films at prestigious international festivals in China will be also considered at the event.

Uzbekistan audience will be able to watch films by Chinese filmmakers “Money runs on the road” and “Fresh flowers”.
