At a solemn event organized at the Presidential Administration on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and the Defenders of the Motherland Day, the Commander of the Central Military District was awarded the “Battle Flag of Amir Temur”, established at the initiative of the Head of state.

Receiving this award became a great achievement not only for the Central Military District, but also for the military-administrative sectors of Jizzakh, Samarkand and Navoi regions.

The event in Navoi was attended by military personnel, state and public organizations representatives, youth and the general public.

Hokim of Navoi region, head of the Military Administrative Sector of the region N. Tursunov congratulated the command of the Central Military District on this award.

The participants spoke about the power and importance of the battle flag, the results of the work behind it, and called on the youth to be active on the path of peace and development of the Motherland.
