Rustami Emomali laid a wreath at the Independence Monument in the New Uzbekistan Park

A delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli Rustami Emomali, has arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodiq Safoyev welcomed the high-ranking guests at Tashkent International Airport.

As part of the visit program, the delegation visited New Uzbekistan Park and laid a wreath at the Independence Monument.

The guests became familiar with the activities of the Directorate for the Construction of New Tashkent. They got acquainted with the concept of a large-scale urban development project and briefed on the activities conducted to develop modern transport, engineering, and communication infrastructure, create green zones, and construct social facilities.

In addition, the delegation members visited the New Uzbekistan University to get acquainted with its activities, the organization of the educational process and the modern educational infrastructure.
