
Almaty hosted the 6th Meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “Central Asia – China” Format.
The event, which was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, was organized to discuss strengthening regional cooperation, expanding trade and mutual ties, and finding joint solutions in response to common challenges.

According to the Uzbekistan MFA, the parties unanimously confirmed the need to strengthen regional security and economic integration. At the same time, the importance of creating infrastructure projects and transport-communication networks and enhancing environmental, cultural-humanitarian cooperation was noted.

In particular, Mr. Saidov stressed that Uzbekistan will remain committed to further deepening comprehensive cooperation with neighboring countries and China, strengthening mutual trust, and encouraging the stable development of the region.

“It is our firm belief that the initiatives put forward during the meeting on various spheres will benefit the common prosperity of all”, Mr. Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel.
