Cooperation issues considered
A meeting took place between the Hokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov, and Tim Reid, CEO of UK Export Finance.
Issues of cooperation in infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of a plant for processing construction waste, were discussed at the meeting. The parties exchanged views on possible financing mechanisms, project deadlines and subsequent stages of cooperation.
Special attention was given to exploring additional opportunities for cooperation between Tashkent and UK Export Finance in urban infrastructure, sustainable development, and attracting international financial expertise.
The parties expressed their willingness to continue cooperation to develop Tashkent and improve the quality of the urban environment.
