TURKSOY culture and art delegates visit Andijan

As part of Andijan’s status as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World, delegates from the member states of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) visited Andijan to represent culture and the arts.

Delegates from Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan were solemnly welcomed at Andijan Railway Station and International Airport.

From October 18 to 23, Andijan will host the 4th TURKSOY International Theater Festival, meetings of theater directors from TURKSOY member countries, 5th Gathering of Museums of the Turkic World. The event will also feature the “Best Museum of the Year” award ceremony.

These events, which showcase the rich cultural heritage, theater arts, and museum traditions of the Turkic peoples, will provide a special space for creative dialogue and the exchange of experience.

These events will serve to glorify the shared values of the Turkic peoples and strengthen friendship and solidarity between the nations.
