Uzbekistan’s journalist receives the Asiavision Jury Award 2026
In today’s fast-paced information age, a media outlet’s international reputation depends not only on how quickly and objectively it reports events, but also on how professionally it presents them to a global audience.
Sydney, Australia, hosted the Global News Forum.
The forum is held annually under the auspices of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), which operates the Asiavision News (AVN) platform to facilitate video content exchange among member broadcasters.

The prestigious forum gathered nearly 120 representatives from leading media outlets. At the AVN Awards ceremony, held as part of the Global News Forum, Uzbekistan’s TV journalist Dilnavoz Madrahimova received the Asiavision Jury Award.
Over the past four years, Dilnavoz Madrahimova has produced hundreds of analytical video reports for the platform, covering major reforms in Uzbekistan, newly built facilities, cultural and educational events, and the country’s tourism potential.
At the Sydney forum, Madrahimova presented on Uzbekistan’s development and the capabilities of the MTRK Uzbekistan. Her presentation drew considerable interest from international media representatives and paved the way for new partnerships.
This achievement marks a new stage in the development of Uzbekistan’s media sector and information policy.
