Para-chess players competed for the State Security Service Cup

Chess tests one’s intellect, patience, and perseverance. At the Syrdarya Regional Youth Center, nearly 100 participants aged 7 to 70 fiercely competed in the regional State Security Service Cup para-chess tournament.

Throughout the 7-round tournament, participants showcased their intellectual abilities, strategic thinking, patience, and resilience. Each round featured intense, challenging matches. The events, involving competitors of various ages, displayed a distinctive mix of seasoned expertise and youthful energy.

In the boys’ competition, Asilbek Ismoilov claimed first place and became the tournament champion. Murod Isoqov took second place, while Aktam Jumuqov finished third.

The matches among the girls were equally intense. After a heated contest, Dilnura Marufjonova emerged victorious and secured first place. Gulsevar Sodiqova earned second, while Nilufar Sultonova finished third.

The competition winners and prize recipients received diplomas, medals, and special commemorative gifts.

In addition, the first-place winners in each category received the ceremonial State Security Service Cup. The top ten para-chess players in both categories qualified for the next tournament stage, scheduled to take place in Samarkand.
