Meeting with representatives of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies

A meeting with experts and scholars from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies was held at the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The meeting was attended by Alisher Agzamkhodjayev, Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment, and Tourism, Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Chairman of the Committee on Science, Education, and Healthcare, and faculty members of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

During the meeting, it was noted that in recent years, under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Uzbekistan’s foreign policy has consistently developed on the principles of openness, constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and mutually beneficial cooperation. It was emphasized that the new political environment emerging in Central Asia is an important factor in expanding regional cooperation and in jointly seeking solutions to common challenges.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop cooperation with international research institutions, exchange experience, and develop joint initiatives.
