Cooperation between Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and France

Meetings to develop a green economy based on the zero-waste principle were held during the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

Representatives of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development discussed with the heads of major international organizations and companies ways to expand cooperation among Central Asian countries and with foreign states in waste management.

A Heads of Terms agreement was signed by Sharifbek Khasanov, Director of the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development, Omar Al Midani,  Chief Executive Officer of Vision International Investment Company, and Silvère Delaunay, Chief Executive Officer of the French company SUEZ International for Europe and Central Asia.

The $78 million project involves collaboration in hazardous waste processing.
