GUZ Partners: export potential of Uzbekistan’s textile enterprises showcased

Romana Augenstein, GUZ Partners Project Coordinator and representative of the German knitwear industry association Gesamtmasche, visited several enterprises across Uzbekistan during her trip to the country, Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association reports.

Her visit included production facilities in Tashkent, as well as in Tashkent, Fergana, Namangan, Kashkadarya and Bukhara regions.

During her visits to the enterprises, Romana Augenstein learned about their products, production technologies and manufacturing capacities. Particular attention was paid to the export potential of Uzbekistan manufacturers and opportunities to expand their presence in international markets.

During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation with German companies, the development of mutually beneficial initiatives and the implementation of joint projects.
