Favorable conditions created in Nukus for recreation and entrepreneurship development
During his trip to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev walked along a renovated street in Nukus.
The improvement of Garezsizlik, S. Kamalov, and G. Sheraziyeva streets has created a comfortable environment for residents and visitors to relax, as well as conditions for round-the-clock operation of retail and entertainment facilities.

The project received 2.2 billion UZS. Sections of the streets totaling 2.5 kilometers were repaired, and their infrastructure was upgraded.
Pedestrian walkways have been constructed, with benches and waste bins installed. Solar-powered streetlights have been installed to illuminate the area at night. A new 1.5-kilometer drainage network was built to drain rainwater and prevent water pooling, along with upgrades to the existing drainage systems.

The conditions created have also spurred entrepreneurial activity. Eight new businesses have opened in the area, and another 10 have expanded their operations. As a result, 75 new jobs have been created.
While walking along the street, the Head of State spoke warmly with residents, emphasizing that the peace prevailing in the country is the most precious blessing and extending his best wishes.
