Ahead of the 35th independence anniversary, Uzbekistan is implementing major reforms, emphasizing human honor and dignity. This is especially noticeable in the case of Andijan region.
In recent years, significant efforts have been made in the region to strengthen the economy, establish modern infrastructure and new employment opportunities, enhance the population’s well-being, and improve the standards of education and healthcare.
Cities and districts are seeing the development of modern residential buildings and social facilities, alongside improvements in road infrastructure and communication networks. These developments extend beyond regional centers to include remote areas.
The focus is on boosting the region’s industrial and production capabilities. New businesses are being established, existing capacities are being expanded, and modern technologies are being adopted. This allows for greater deep processing of local raw materials and the production of competitive, high-value goods.
Modern methods are increasingly used in agriculture. Initiatives aimed at optimizing land and water use, adopting advanced technologies, expanding horticulture and vegetable production, and supporting farming and dehkan households are contributing to the growth of the region’s agricultural capacity.
The material and technical infrastructure of medical facilities is being enhanced, which broadens the range and enhances the quality of services offered. New schools and institutions are also being constructed, providing opportunities for young people to gain modern knowledge and skills.
