Bakhtiyor Saidov receives copies of credentials from the newly appointed ambassadors of Switzerland and Germany
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov accepted copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation Simone Giger and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan Matthias Vollert.
During the conversation with the Swiss Ambassador, emphasis was placed on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and investment partnerships, advancing industrial collaboration, and promoting new joint initiatives.
The parties emphasized the need to strengthen relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland and showed their openness to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation. Bakhtiyor Saidov extended good wishes to Mrs. Simone Giger for her diplomatic responsibilities and reaffirmed his full support for her efforts to enhance bilateral ties.

During the meeting with the German Ambassador, the Foreign Minister highlighted Germany’s significant role as a trusted and longstanding partner of Uzbekistan in Europe.
Bakhtiyor Saidov stated that in recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Germany have been steadily growing, supported by high-level visits and regular political dialogue.
During the discussions, the parties covered key points on the bilateral agenda and highlighted the need for prompt and effective execution of the agreements made at the highest level.
Bakhtiyor Saidov extended his best wishes to Mr. Matthias Vollert for success in his important and honorable diplomatic role in Uzbekistan.
The meetings reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s desire to deepen ties with Switzerland and Germany, focusing on expanding practical cooperation and launching new promising projects.
