Aero Nomad launches regular flights between Bishkek and Tashkent

Tashkent International Airport marked a significant milestone in air connectivity between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan by hosting the inaugural scheduled flight by Kyrgyz airline Aero Nomad connecting Bishkek and Tashkent.

The Airbus A320 landed at the capital’s airport and was welcomed with a traditional water salute. Arriving passengers were greeted with national treats. Behind this symbolic ceremony was a practical development – the launch of another direct air route, making travel between the two neighboring countries more accessible.

The first flight from Bishkek to Tashkent had 163 passengers, whereas the return flight carried 74. This initial difference is typical when launching a new route, as passenger traffic between the capitals is expected to increase gradually. Schedule convenience, ticket prices, and route demand will influence this growth.

Aero Nomad will now run flights between Bishkek and Tashkent twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. These flights will use modern Airbus A320 planes, allowing the airline to offer consistent service on the route and steadily build its market presence.
