Business Development Bank takes part in Uzbekistan Investor Day 2026
A delegation from JSCB Business Development Bank took an active part in the Uzbekistan Investor Day 2026 in London.
As part of the event, negotiations were held with representatives of leading international financial institutions, investment funds, and foreign banks, and agreements for credit lines totaling $75 million were signed.
In particular, an agreement was reached with Standard Chartered Bank to sign a $35 million loan agreement. In addition, to expand cooperation with ICBC Standard Bank, the existing financing limit was increased by $40 million.
Issues regarding the bank’s financial stability, the progress of transformation processes, and prospects for entering international capital markets were discussed with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, JP Morgan, Federated Hermes, Insight Investment, and other major financial institutions. The bank’s plans to issue its first international Eurobonds attracted strong investor interest.
The meetings held and agreements reached are an important step toward strengthening JSCB Business Development Bank’s position in international financial markets and attracting long-term foreign financial resources.
